Jai swaminarayan, I like how BAPA was being economical. One day Bapa was in London, after his meal he was looking for his toothpick. A sevaksant offered another one but BAPA refused. Finally he found his old toothpick and expressed his satisfaction. This reminds me every time I look at bapa's murti.

In 1949, Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj was going to be the fifth successor of BAPS and so a meeting was held at Ambli Vali Pol, Ahmedabad. During the meeting, Shastriji Maharaj appointed Pramukh Swami Maharaj the head of BAPS. After the meeting Pramukh Swami Maharaj walked through a walkway which lead to the exit of the hall. something that most reminds me of bapa is his unique way of telling kids and aduts how to do something.For example , it was his last darshan of the day in London everyone one was waiting in the foyer. When Bapa arrived everyone greeted him with jai's then Kanubhai Barot and Ashokbhai Daliya made their way to swamibapa. As they were going they sang."dhari amara shriji bhgawan, tilak chandlo emni olkhan;Muki sharama ne thai naram, palishu ame Niyam-dharam..." When they got to swamibapa they said,"who ever wants a tilak chandlo set can have it from swamibapa himself." One by one everyone came. Bapa said," this should be life long,there is no need to tell." this was swamishri's unique way of telling everyone to put a tilka-chndlo. this is what most reminds me of bapa. I love bapa's pravachans.

What I remember the most about Swamishri was his care and love for us. He always forgave us when we know we didn't do the right thing. He is always thinking and caring about us every moment of his life. He is constantly looking out for us. For me when I am nervous, either before an exam or before a sports game, somewhere at the back of my head I see Swami's encouraging and smiling face always making sure I do the right thing. But one yuvak went for garba in party plot with his friends to keep his friend happy. Next day in newspaper his(yuvak's)photo was thier playing garba with his friend. he saw his photo and became sad and started thinking that what would swamibapa think when he saw his(yuvak's) photo in newspaper?.He went to swamibapa and asked to forgive him. Swamibapa firstly asked about the incident and yuvak explained to swamibapa then swamibapa said "I am not your friend ?" yuvak started crying and promised to swamibapa that he will never go for garba. SWAMIBAPA CONSIDER US AS HIS BEST FRIEND SO WE SHOULD ALSO MAKE SWAMIBAPA AS IF OUR ONE ONLY ONE BEST FRIEND AND WE SHOULD FOLLOW EVERY AGYNA OF SWAMIBAPA.

Pramukh Swami Maharaj reminds me the most when I went to Sarungpur for his darshan and when Pramukh Swami Maharaj went to Akshardham I was so worried I thought I would have never done the guru's darshan then when I found out Mahant Swami Maharaj was the new guru and he was coming to North America for a vichran I was overjoyed and when Mahant Swami Maharaj came I even took notes to keep this a memory. So this is what reminds of when I think of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. I would never forget those ten days. They were the best.

In the year 1980, Pramukh Swami Maharaj was doing vicharan in America sitting in a caravan. On 2 September 1980, Pramukh Swami Maharaj was traveling from Boston to New York. And all the other sadhus were asleep. Thakorji had been put to sleep in a box which was then kept in one of the berths in the caravan but as the caravan moves forth the box slid to the edge of the berth and before anyone knew the box fell to the floor. Pramukh Swami Maharaj woke up. Pramukh Swami Maharaj was devastated. Afterwards, Pramukh Swami Maharaj started to say” forgive me, forgive me!” He then did 25 danvants. Then He did Thal, offered water and did mala. He did not sleep the whole night.
