Jai Swaminarayan!Asmita or pride is a main aspect of the Akshar-Purushottam Upasana, every BAPS satsangi is proud of being a disciple of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and part of BAPS organization.Being satsangi makes me feel happy and proud because it makes me a cherry on the cake. If we see in our daily lives, around us there are many people who may be professionally successful but they really have no clue why are they here on earth?.But we have a goal for our lives - not only professional and but also spiritual goals, only because of our satsang and Bapa. We are also privileged that we have got the company of the pragat which is something very different from the world or other sampradayas. I am also happy that BAPS and Maharaj - Swami have kept me away from the materialistic world. Thus, I am proud to be a BAPS Satsangi and I am sure this path will keep me happy too until my last breath.

Jai Swaminarayan, I feel Proud when my classmates ask me what I did over the weekend and I share with them things I do and Learn in Sabha and Gujurati class. They ask me questions like how does your temple look like? how many kids come etc. I feel proud telling them about our festivals and celebrations that we have in our mandir. I show them pictures of mandir, Annkut,Picnic and Walkathone and they always say " wow that looks like so much fun" Then I tell them that they can also join me next time if they would like to experience the fun!!! :)

I have so much pride for Shastriji Maharaj, who left with only five sadhus and a handful of haribhaktos to etablish the Akshar-Purushottam Santha. Our Gurus endured so many hardships for us; and look where we are today. BAPS is a well established, united family.
