Picture worth a thousand words

As we approach the Janma Jayanti of our beloved guru, Mahant Swami Maharaj,(23rd September) check out the above picture of Swamishri and give us your thoughts (manan). What do you feel when you see it? What does it tell us about Swamishri?

DAS NA DAS is very important by PAGE LAAGGING to someone who is older or younger then you, no matter who you are.

These pictures makes me think about the saying "Das na Das Thavu." it makes me think of this because Mahant Swami the guru of this whole santha is folding his hands to all of us. The second picture shows one person bowing down to another person that is also bowing down to them. In that way we should also bow down to others. Jay Swaminarayan.

Jai Swaminarayan, This picture depicts the quality of Das bhav which is extremely dear to our Guru. The two figures are prostrating to each other showing that we should be humble and bow down to all satsangis. Furthermore, Swamishri has drawn a ring over each figures head portraying that we should see our fellow haribhaktas in satsang as divya and we should always look at the qualities in others. After seeing this picture I now will aim to become more modest and will always try to find one good quality in someone. This tells us that it is Swamishri's inner wish that we keep dasbhav and we can earn his immense RAJIPO by doing so. He has also said:"Dās bhāv etle express way to Akshardham."

What I see in the photo is that mahant swami drew a picture of two people bowing down to each other, and that shows me to become das na das. I should always help my elders and people that are younger than me

Jai Swaminarayan, When I see the picture above, I feel encouraged to do Panchang Pranam. Its shows me that Swamishri loves to do dandvat pranams and gives us an agna to do it. Jai Swaminarayan

This photo reminds me of the time when Mahant Swami Maharaj came to Australia and in-front of the whole sabha he drew a bhakt bowing down to another bhakt. This symbolised das na das no matter who the das is you still need to follow that specific rule Maharaj has gave us in this lucky life of ours as satsangis. Jay Swaminarayan

I can include satsang reading my daily life by reducing my free time and instead take at least 15-20 minutes to read satsang books.

Jai Swaminarayan, I love reading Satsang books, my father made me read daily satsang books before I sleep, so I learned a habit of reading daily before I sleep and it makes me really feel good. we also included reading from  kids.baps.org some days of the month. Jai Swaminarayan.

Jai Swaminarayan, Even though Swami is the head of Baps, he folds his hands at us, which shows he is very humble and respectful. His Nirmanipanu teaches us to have no ego and eradicate our deadly swabhavs. After puja, Swami always folds his hands and looks at the virtues in all the devotees, as he sees Bhagwan in each and every one of us. The second picture reminds me how artistic, imaginative and intelligent Swami is.

Jay swaminarayan! This pictuere looks like 2 bhakto or even balakas bowing down to there parents. You can see a divine light coming from the 2 haribhakto. That is what I think bapa is trying to show us, to bow donw to our parents after doing puja. Jay swaminarayan!

This picture of Swamishri shows his understanding of dasbhav and divyabhav towards each other. This picture is of 2 people bowing down to each other. Swamishri wants us to learn how to have dasbhav and samp between each other. In the first picture, Swamishri is folding his hands to darshan of each and every haribhakta. I have noticed in recent pictures that Swamishri now wears glasses, and this is because he couldn't see the the last row of haribhaktas. This shows that Swamishri has so much agrah for divyabhav and dasbhav.

Jai Swaminarayan From the first picture of Swamibapa, I see Swamibapa saying Jai Swaminarayan to everyone and telling us to be Das na Das. From the second picture, Swamibapa's drawing tell us to see everyone with Divyabhav.

Jai Swaminarayan.I think from this picture swamishri is trying to tell us to bow down to everyone older or younger. This also tells us to keep Dasbhav for everyone mentally and physically. When I see this picture I feel special because our guru is trying to tell us his ruchi by drawing a picture. By seeing a drawing even kids maybe able to understand their guru's ruchi. This picture tells us that swamishri is always trying his hardest to let us reach our final destination Akshardham.
