    Daily Puja

Daily Puja

You’re on an overnight school trip! It’s morning and as everyone heads out for breakfast, your friends also want to go along with you, but you still have to do your puja. How do you make sure you follow through your niyam of Puja when you are away from home or mandir? (If possible, write a short incident of your's or your friends in Bal or Balika Sabha who have kept steadfastness in this Niyam)

In year 6, i went to a 3 day camp. To follow my niyam of doing puja i would wake up earlier than everyone else and have a shower then do puja. I would do it on the floor in our room. By doing this I followed agna and got Swami's rajipo.

Look friends following our niyam is important! So we should do puja in the morning so in this incident we can wake up early and do puja and if we can't just ask a adult can you stay. We should do puja to remember maharaj and do puja so he remembers us and protects us. So lets let's pray to maharaj that he gives us strength to perform puja regularly and blesses us. Jay Swaminarayan, One day, on my school trip to a rain forest, we had to stay overnight. I had already known that it was very important for me to do my puja, so i packed my puja in my bag. When i reached the place, i found out that you could only have showers in midday, so i asked the teacher if i could have a shower in the morning instead of midday. The teacher agreed and let me have a shower in the morning and also let me do my puja. It is very important to do your regular puja, even in times of difficulty Pramukh Swami Maharaj didn't leave his puja then we are still children, then why should we not do puja?Mahant Swami ha said that "puja is a meeting with Maharaj and Swami", puja is very important in your life. Jay Swaminarayan one way i could keep my niyam of puja when i am outside of my home or mandir is to always ask the person taking me , if i would have place to do my puja and morning shower. An incident is of my big sister who had to go to camp. She told me that she could not have a shower in the morning since then teacher had told everyone to have a shower in the afternoon. When my sister told her teacher about having to do puja the teacher was amazed and told her that she could have a morning shower instead of an afternoon shower. this way she kept her niyam of doing puja in the morning. I remember when my friend Vrunda told me that she wore a chandlo to school. She told me that whenever somebody asked her about it she said”It is my religion.” She also told me when she forgot her chandlo people would always say “Where is your dot?” She inspired my to wear my chandlo and now I’m just like her.So whenever somebody asks about MY chandlo I think of being Swami bapas Lionesses.

Jai Swaminarayan, I have a friend in balika sabha who always takes her puja with her when she is on trips. I remember her telling me once that she went to school camp and she brought her puja along. She did it out in the corridor as there was not enough room in her dorm. She was not ashamed to show her puja to everyone.

JAY SWAMINARAYAN,if you do puja daily you fill fresh and your day goes well.It is calling maharaj and swami to your puja.

Jai Swaminarayan. According to me, if I were in the situation given, I would just make a note to myself to make sure puja is priority and what will swami's face look like if I fall in the endless abyss of maya and forget bapa? To maintain my relationship with others, I would make a compromise or say politely that, "This is an identification tag of my religion, of who I am. May we please wait?" I would also not be afraid of my culture. Another way is to take a niyam or reward yourself. By that I mean like taking a goal and every time you accomplish your goal, you give yourself a treat. The only golden rule with this strategy is to never take abuse, or reward yourself too much. Jai Swaminarayan!

My Sanchalika named Nidhiben, she kept Niljara on her school trip because it was Ramnavmi. Her friends Asked her to eat something. She said No. This means that we should always follow our niyams.

first I will wake up early. If I can't then I will skip my breakfast and do my puja. Then I will eat snacks which my mom gave it to me with my friend, and I will imagine it's my breakfast.

Jai Swaminarayan. During this field trip I would tell my friends why I wouldn't go with them in the morning. I would explain to them that I remember Bhagwan in the morning. It strengthens my connections with him and we should respect him and remember him for all the gifts he has given us. It is the time to thank Bhagwan for what he had given us and how lucky we are to have such a Satpurush. If we remember Bhagwan he will remember us

In June 8 to 10, we had a 3D2N camp. We had to report to the assembly area at 7.30 and I had to my puja so hence I woke up early to do my puja as Mahant Swami Maharaj has said that you should always to your puja daily and hence I did my puja. Jay Swaminarayan

Jay Swaminarayan If I was in this situation I would ask a few of my friends to stay back with me and let them try doing mala and let them read the shikshapatri with me. Then I would explain why I do puja and show them a picture of swami shree. Once in NC18 I woke up late and so I had to get ready in a rush. Everyone was ready but I still had to do puja. Everyone went for breakfast but the cleaner came in. She asked where my friends went and I told her the whole story. Then she asked me what I was doing and I showed her how to do puja. I felt amazing after introducing someone new into satsang. Jay Swaminarayan

The first thing I would not eat or drink without doing puja and so I would not agree with my friends. I would tell them to wait for around 20 minutes as that’s is the average time a puja takes. If I would go with my friends bapa would not be pleased with me as I never followed his agna. So to follow his agna and keep my niyam I would do Puja FIRST.

This photo reminds me of when i had camp from school and i had to wake up early everyday to do my puja in front of my friends. My friends asked my a questions, one of them was that my friend pointed at Mahant Swami Maharaj and asked who he was? I answered quite clearly and she understood. SO that just shows how important our puja is.No matter how big the problem is and under any circumstances, WE MUST DO OUR PUJA DAIL! Jay Swaminarayan

Jay Swaminarayan,I am very regular in puja but the day before yesterday there was my overnight school trip in which I have taken puja along with me and does it. I must say at that day all my friends got shocked by my bhakti.I must say puja is very important for our life,Puja means we are giving thanks to the god for all he gave us.We can't give as much more as God had give us but atleast we can pleased him by puja.

Jay swaminarayan What we can do is that we can wake up earlier and quickly do our puja if you are allowed. Or you can tell your teacher about your niyam in puja and tell about what you believe in so your teacher allows you to do your puja. Jay swaminarayan.

In this situation I will tell my friend to wait until I finish my puja. Also, explain that my ritual.l love bapa and I want rajipo of bapa. I also want to share my prasang that this chaturmas I took niyam that do not watch cartoon, but when outside my teacher put cartoon in tv in my break, this situation I tell my teacher that due to my spiritual thing i am not watching tv,can you please give colour page, then I do colouring in corner of my class.

Jay Swaminarayan I like to go to school trips and follow my niyams. So couple weeks ago, one of my family members (brother) went to a school trip and it was in San Francisco. It was morning of the second day and everyone woke up, rushed to the breakfast hall but he was left with doing puja. So he did this, he started to rush and hurry. But then he stopped to rush and chanted god because he stepped on his guru. His friend was waiting for him and my brother said to him, "You first go take your breakfast as fast as I will come soon". He was confident and he made it. He showed his confident to his friend and that is a niyam of being confident. Do not just give up, try your best and show the stength and power.

Jay Swaminarayan If i have to face that thing what i will do is tell my friends to wait for 5 minutes and if they can't they can go but will do my pooja and then the breakfast. because without pooja food is going to be harm
SHRUSHTI PATEL (12)

I would ask them to go to breakfast themselves because I would have to do my Puja. If you don’t do Puja then you won’t get to eat any food. It is a strict niyam, and an easy one too. Maharaj does lots and lots for us, if we don’t do Puja then Maharaj will be very upset with us.
