    A Compassionate Leader!

A Compassionate Leader!

Being compassionate is very difficult, especially due to our egos. Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj on the other hand has no problem constantly connecting to and being compassionate to everyone, despite being the Guru of BAPS.

We must aspire to be just like him by recalling his inspiring qualities. What does it mean to be compassionate? How can you imbibe this virtue into your own life?

Compassionate means sympathy and caring feelings for everyone around us. I can imbibe compassion into my life by understanding people’s feelings and show respect/sympathy to it, making sure that my friends, family and relatives are happy to stay around me and mainly I can make sure I understand them by being caring

Jai Swaminarayan, To me, being compassionate is going out of your way to support and help others who are in need.I will imbibe this virtue into my life by doing seva for others in the mandir e.g by helping the elderly.I can also support others through their difficult times, by talking to them or by bringing them to the mandir.I read prasangs about how Maharaj and the Guru Parampara have always been compassionate and selfless, which motivates me. I also remind myself that the most precious fruits of being compassionate are:Swami's rajipo and Akshardham.

Jai Swaminarayan, Everyone around the globe always always has some sort of wish for someone to praise them for their acts. This wish can make us risk our lives if it is thought to such an extent where we can’t live without it. Luckily, we as Swamibapa’s lions don’t fall into this trap as our role models, Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj, have always had sympathy towards anyone they pass by. All of our gurus have always thought about us being Akshar Muktos. Once,in Shastriji Maharaj’s time, Shastriji Maharaj was looking at the murti’s for the Sarangpur mandir. As he was doing this someone who opposed Shastriji Maharaj dearly threw a stick at his hip with such force that the stick broke in half when it touched Shastriji Maharaj, yet Shastriji Mahraj bent down, picked up those sticks and handed it back to that man. This was just one prasang when our gurus showed compassion toward someone. Now that we realised one of our gurus' compassion, how can we imbibe that into our lives? The answer lies in the Kirtan: Divya Che He survey Divya Che Mukta Che survey Mukta Che. In this kirtan it says, with the sang of Mahant Swami Maharaj everyone is a mukta and they are divya. This shows that thinking that your mandir friends have the sang of Mahant Swami Maharaj and are hence divya can increase the amount of compassion we have for each other. Jai Swaminarayan Everyone😄

Jai Swaminarayan, Pramukh swami maharaj was one such compassionate guru. He has met many presidents and prime ministers. Although he has even met poor people who live in huts. Like in one sabha he met a famous person and when he was leaving he met a poor a person with a smile on his face. Now we should all learn to be compassionate to everyone you meet.

Being compassionate is not just telling someone you care, but to show them that you care. Swamishri has shown compassion to countless haribhaktos, should that be a small child or an elderly haribhakta. This is mainly due to the fact that swaminshri sees everyone as divya. Only by seeing everyone as divya, can one show compassion and kindness to not only your elders but also your youngers. Compassion can come from the brain or the heart. The compassion from the heart is what is clean and your true thoughts. Seeing everyone as divya can greatly purify your thoughts about yourself, and others. This also makes it easier for you to see the qualities in others and show others compassion.

BEING COMPASSIONATE MEANS BEING GOOF TOWARDS EACH OTHER AND NOT HAVING EGO..IF SOMEONE IS SMALLER THAN US WE SHOULD NOT TREAT THEM BAD BUT WE SHOULD TREAT THEM THE WAY WE TREAT ELDERS, WE SHOULD TREAT THEM EQUALLY.

Being compassionate means having no ego within us and treating everyone equally. Even if someone is smaller/younger than us we should treat them in a good way(Equally). We should also learn how to forgive and forget keeping all our ego aside.

Jay Swaminarayan! Being compassionate means feeling deeply for another person as they experience ups and downs associated with their life. Being compassionate doesn't mean to just tell someone that you care, but also to show them that you care by being there when they need help. You can become compassionate by helping others when they are going through bad times. Jay Swaminarayan!

Jai Swaminarayan! What does it mean to be compassionate? It doesn't mean to just be someone who helps others when needed. A compassionate personality means to not just help physically like lending others a pencil or a helping hand when the other one has fallen down, it means to help them from your heart. A few example of this is giving the other person motivation and keeping them positive in their hard times. Mahant Swami Maharaj is a form of compassioness! He helps us in our hard times and gives us a solution to our problem. To imbibe this virtue in our life we can help our dear ones when they are in a problem instead of making fun of their situation. Yes helping physically is still being compassionate but a real compassionate virtue comes from the heart. Jai Swaminarayan!

A compassionate leader is someone who does not have any ego. Whereas Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj constantly connecting with others and being compassionate to everyone. Bhagatji Maharaj was also the same and did everything Gunatitanand Swami said he would even stay awake all night it Gunatinanand Swami’s service and sleep only one hour a day. There we should try and try and be like by recalling his inspiring qualities.

Ghansham was born in chapiaya. Once ghansham said to his mother and father he wants to go to ayodhya. Rampratrab said ghansham but your all friends are here. Ghansham said my home is the whole world. Then they went to ayodhya with a boat then the fishes saw the boat and the fishes said even we will even go with ghansham while saying let's go let's go they reached there then there father passed away while before they passed away they said I have recognised ghansham he is bhagvan. Then one day ghansham thought for his kalyanyathra then he dressed up like nilkhant varni he bowed down to his parents and went to his kalyanyatra and that is the day where his kalyanyatra started.

First of all, being compassionate means to (according to google) show compassion/sympathy towards others or be kind to others. To be compassionate, we must let go of all our svabhavs, our ego and we must believe everyone to be "divya". To imbibe this virtue into our everyday life, we can do little things like helping our parents with everyday work, helping strangers, being courteous and just being kind altogether. We must try our hardest to make our guru Mahant swami happy and being compassionate is just one step on the long journey. Jay Swaminaryan

To be compassionate is to not have any ego but how can we. We can read satsang books, we can keep company of guru like Mahant Swami Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj. We must attend sabhas to become compassionate. What compassionate guru Mahant Swami is, just like that we must be compassionate too!

Jay swaminarayan I think compassionate means a warm hearted person who concern for others and very humanitarian. Some one who is compassionate always loves to help others and respect them. I would imbibe this virtue in my life by closely watching our guru’s life and following his every and any small or big wish. The way he talk with kids, give respect, having understanding with Mahima, I will learn from him. And that’s how I can even please Swami Bapa .

Jai Swaminarayan, Being compassionate means always being there for everyone, and caring for them. To be compassionate, I have to care for everyone, no matter who, be there for them in difficult circumstances, and listen to them. This may be difficult, due to our swabhavs, but we have to overcome our swabhavs and connect to everyone. Mahant Swami Maharaj constantly is compassionate to others, despite being the guru and president of BAPS. One prasang that stands out to me takes place in Sarangpur. While Mahant Swami Maharaj was walking to the mandir, two yuvaks began to do dandvats in the dirt. After they got back up, Mahant Swami Maharaj called them closer and surprisingly, he started to brush the dirt off of them! This prasang shows how Mahant Swami Maharaj cared for them selflessly. I strive to imbibe this virtue in my life. Jai Swaminarayan

Compassionate means to care for others and to motivate them in a good way. We can take the virtue into our life by listening to swamini vato and listening to different prasangs and vachnamrut. It is good to listen to gurus as they motivate us to become someone big and good person in life.

To be compassionate we must feel sympathy towards others. We should understand what others are feeling and help them. Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj is the meaning of being compassionate. Whenever he is in contact with a harbhakto or a sadhu he knows how they are doing and he connects with all of us very well. We should imbibe this trait in our lives. To do that we must not think of anything bad towards others. When we do we cannot feel sympathy in other people. When we change this one thing in our lives we can start to understand other's feelings and get the bad traits of them out of our minds.

Jai Swaminarayan,I think being compassionate is caring and helping other people. I can imbibe this virtue into my life by putting others first like Bapa has always taught us" IN THE JOY OF OTHERS LIES OUR OWN.

Jai Swaminarayan! Being compassionate requires one to wear the spectacles of divyabhav and see all as divine. Mahant Swami Maharaj is a perfect example of someone who even by mistake, never sees the Swabhavs in anyone else. In the morning he does Gün Grahan of sadhus and haribhaktos, even though he is already perfect and flawless. We can become more compassionate by observing the virtues of all. Even if someone has 99 faults, we should look at their 1 good quality. Becoming compassionate also requires Dasbhav. Bapa comes down to our level, to listen to our problems and doubts as well as a comfort us with his Amrut Vani. During all of this he forgets about his bodily needs and only cares for us. We should aspire to remain a Das na Das whenever serving a haribhakta or even Swami Bapa.

Jai Swaminarayan! I think that being compassionate means to be kind to everyone. To be compassionate we must: - not shout at our parents or friends - we should be helpful to everyone - we should remember our manners We can become like Bapa if we behave like this and always see good virtues, but never see bad faults in others.
