Room for 90%...

We hope this letter reaches you in the best of health.

Once Pujya Mahant Swami and santo went to Germany and visited the Mercedes-Benz manufacturing warehouse.  They took a tour of the warehouse and saw how Mercedes-Benz’s are assembled.  After seeing the entire process, the santo told the guide how impressed they were with the process and quality of the cars being made there.  We all know the greatness of a Mercedes-Benz.  Though, the guide who took them around told them, “We believe that there is still 90% of improvements that can be made to our cars.”  The santo were shocked after hearing this because they saw the precision and quality control they used in making these vehicle.

Friends, if Mercedes-Benz, one of the most elegant and prestigious car companiesin the world believes they still have 90% of improvements that can be done to their cars, what about ourselves?   

Whenever we are studying, doing seva, taking part in mandir programs,or helping our parents at home,we should do so with this open mindset, “There is always room for improvement.”  If we do all of our activities in this manner, then we will definitely find our faults and become more creative and progress further.  

Therefore, if we want to become world best, we must look at the different ways we can improve in all aspects of our life, all the time.
