Jay Swaminarayan,
Doing your best sounds very easy, but when put into action, it can be very difficult. But luckily, we have our Gurus to help us. A way to take inspiration from them is studying their life and inspiring incidents. Once there was a devastating earthquake in Bhuj. While preparing the relief kits for the affected villagers, Pramukh Swami Maharaj paid close attention to detail. He made sure the food was spicy because he knew that was how the villagers liked it and he also added nail clippers to the kit thinking, “They haven’t cut their nails since the earthquake. They will need this.” He shows us that it is important to pay attention to the details and make your work the best. Pramukh Swami Maharaj was precise with everything he did. He did everything to ensure that it was the best. He always put in 100% effort and thought into what he did. Mahant Swami Maharaj always says, “Do your best and leave the rest.” Once you do your best, Maharaj will help you, but you have to make sure that you truly did it to the best of your abilities. Something to motivate us to work hard is praying to Swamishri and asking him to help you. You can also keep rajipa no vichar and by doing so you will remember Swami’s joyful smile and that will push you to do your best!
Until next time!
