The Most Magical Moment
We celebrated Mahant Swami Maharaj’s 92nd birthday this year on 2 February in Vadodara. You may have been present for the event. Or you may have seen it on television.
What was your favourite part of the event? Was it when Swamishri accepted the Guinness World record on our behalf for reciting the Satsang Diksha? Or was it when all the children got to meet Swamishri in person? Or what about the part when Swamishri entered from underneath the stage?
Reflect on your favourite moment from the Janma Jayanti celebration and explain why you liked it so much. |

My favourite part of the Janma Jayanti was when Mahant Swami Maharaj accepted the Guinness World Record on behalf of us. I also liked when Swamishri told Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel to also hold the world record, which was an act of respect.

February 2nd is one of the best days of my life. It holds my most precious memories with Mahant Swami. It was the day I was able to offer the mukhpath I had spent nearly a year memorizing to Swamishri. When Swami got the Guinness World Record, all of the balaks and balikas were so happy, and it was like our journey to rajipo was officially accomplished. I can still remember the joy in the atmosphere and on everybody’s face. After the samaiyo, when I was able to go to do darshan of Mahant Swami close up, it was as if Swami was telling me that he would stay with me forever. I feel like I really earned the rajipo from Swamishri I had been longing for. I will remember that day for the rest of my life.

My favorite part of the event was when all the children got to meet Swamishri in person. I enjoyed it so much because I know what it feels like to see Bapa in person. I went to see Bapa a few months ago, and it was amazing.

My favorite part was Swamishri accepting the Guinness World Record because it was a proud moment for me and the other nakkar vidvans since we got this because of our hard work. Even though I wasn’t there for the recitation, I still felt like I was part of it, as I watched it live from home.

I really like how Mahant Swami Maharaj always inspires us to never give up, even when you have a very hard time. My favourite part of Bapa’s birthday celebration was when he received the Guinness World Record for encouraging balaks and balikas to recite Satsang Diksha shlokas. My second favourite part was when the kids got to meet Mahant Swami Maharaj.

I liked it when Bapa got the Guinness World Record, as it made my proud of myself and my sanstha. And it was great as Bapa blessed all the vidhvans, including me, even while I was far away at home. I also enjoyed the time when Bapa came from underneath the stage because the view was so beautiful, and even though I wasn’t there in person, it seemed fun.

The most magical moment was when Mahant Swami Maharaj accepted the Guinness World Record. It was great to see that, especially knowing that I helped a little in it by memorizing and reciting the 315 shloks in Sanskrit.
Also, when I watched the documentary, I was amazed at how Mahant Swami Maharaj did this. He didn’t just say to memorize the Satsang Diksha. Mahant Swami Maharaj also wrote so many letters to keep everyone motivated, and he did so much to make us all happy, even after his wish was fulfilled. He thought about us so much. He did so much for us. Mahant Swami Maharaj deserves the award because he did so much to make this happen. This would have never happened without his sincere efforts.

Going to India for a week to celebrate the 92nd birthday of Mahant Swami Maharaj was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Along with my brother Samarth, I had the opportunity to participate in Mission Rajipo and sing as part of the Guinness World Record event. As we all were singing the Satsang Diksha shloks for the Guinness World Record, I kept thinking about how Mahant Swami Maharaj was listening. In that moment, it felt like everything I had worked so hard for came together. I wasn’t just singing, I was offering my effort, devotion, and dedication. That realization filled me with so much happiness and gratitude that I could even come to India and do this. It was all because of Bhagwan.
Watching Mahant Swami Maharaj accept the Guinness World Record with my own eyes that evening was unforgettable. Seeing him smile with such joy made the moment even more special. I remember thinking, “This is incredible! I’m actually here witnessing this!” It felt surreal.
One thing that touched me deeply was realizing that even though Bapa is 92 years old, he still wanted to meet all of us. There were over 12,000 of us, yet he still made the effort to see everyone. I couldn’t believe it. It showed me how much love and care he has for each and every one of us. That day, seeing Bapa so happy is a smruti that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It wasn’t just a birthday celebration, it was an experience that I will never, ever forget.

Me and my younger brother Akshar were there in person for our beloved guru Mahant Swami Maharaj’s 92nd birthday celebration. We got to go because we were two of the Akshar-Purshottam vidushis and vidvans. Our favorite part of the event was when we got a chance to say some shloks of the Satsang Diksha and got swamishri’s rajipo. Also, we got another labh after sabha, and that was to get Swamishri’s samip darshan. At the end, we got very special prasad: CHOCOLATE! It was an unforgettable smurti for us.
