Over 3,700 youths and 2,000 childrenvisited the exhibition on Hindu Shastras organized by the BAPS Bal Mandal of Bhavnagar from 5 to 16 August 2009. The exhibition highlighted the moral, cultural and spiritual values inspired by our scriptures.
In addition to brief introduction on Hinduism the exhibition featured displays on the following shastras:
- Vedas
- Upanishad
- Puranas
- Ramayan
- Mahabharata
- Bhagavad Gita
- Vachanamrut
- Swamini Vato
- Shikshapatri
Also included was a video presentation of Pramukh Swami Maharaj explaining the importance of studying the shastras daily and practice the values they teach to experience peace of mind and harmony in our lives.
All visitors to the exhibition found it very informative and inspiring.
