Reading is the best foundation on which academic skills of an individual are built. The education system knows the fact very well, and hence it is given a top priority in its curriculum. The students and Educators at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidhya Mandir, Raisan also tried their level best to make this priceless activity of reading a habit among the students. The motto behind this celebration was not to just make reading a compulsion, but also to improve the child’s vocabulary, command on the language and communication skills.

The week long activity conveyed different messages related to the importance of reading. Prizes were given for the activities. Writing, Reading, Listening, Speaking skills echoed all over the B.A.P.S campus making it a sweet memory of the year.

Hence the week long activities stressed upon the importance of reading and how it forced to reason out many things which are unfamiliar to us. At the end of the week, the children carried the message that reading will make them more informative & improve their vocabulary.
