BAPS Silvassa School Students prepare Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 92nd Birthday Handbook
20 December 2012
Silvassa, India

Handwritten manuscript is a unique gift of our ancient Hindu Shastras. Brahmswarup Yogiji Maharaj used to appreciate and encourage practice of handwritten manuscripts. He used to give his heartfelt blessings to balaks and yuwaks who used to do this.

In and endeavor to please Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the students, teachers and the management of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidhya Mandir, Silvassa has made a small effort to please Bapa by bringing out this volume.

Purpose:

  • To show our gratitude towards Bapa who has spent each and every moment for us.
  • Unique way to offer ‘Bhakti’ in which every soul of the institute can be involved.
  • To inspire imagination, creativity, and teamwork in children.
  • Children can learn to give different types of gift in the form of taking Niyams which can enlighten their lives.
  • This is an innocent effort to please Bapa.
  • ‘Vaali Paintings’ is a unique style of depicting an event, theme or occasion, which is an old tradition in tribals. It shows simplicity and bold colors. It is a primitive art of communication wherein simple forms, figures, colors and styles are used to express feelings of joy, contentment and even ‘Bhakti’.
We congratulate to all who took part in this unique project.
