November 9-10, 2013. 200 Bal Mandal volunteers (karyakars) from across Ahmedabad’s five zones gathered in the village of Raison to increase unity and fraternity by joining a weekend long sports competition. While all the karyakars enjoyed table tennis, volleyball, badminton, carom, and other games throughout their two day gathering, it was the cricket tournament that won the show. The tournament was played between teams from all the five zones with great spirit of sportsmanship. The winners of tournament were awarded the Ahmedabad “Pramukh Cup”. All the participants had a memorable time and hope to take the lessons of unity and hard work and use them to enhance how they serve the children of their centers.
