The BAPS Bal Mandal, Nairobi, organized a convention for 350 Bal Balikas under the inspiration of  Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj on August 9 and 10.
The theme for the convention was ‘How to please Swamishri.’  Children ranging from the age group of 3.1/2 years to 15 years took part in the competitions. They hailed from Nairobi, Mombassa and Mwanza. The convention was guided by Pujya Bhaktavatsal Swami and members of the Sant Mandal. Vandal Patel of Group B bagged four prizes and came first, while Aashni Davadra and Divyesh Patel, both from Nairobi of Groups A and C, bagged three prizes each.
In the overall performance Nairobi won 38 prizes, while Mwanza and Mombassa got 24 and 14 prizes respectively.
The prizes were distributed by Pujya Bhaktavatsal Swami. He also delivered a talk at the Ravi Sabha and also spoke at the concluding day’s function.  There was evening arti followed by maha prasad.
