BAPS Swaminarayan Bal Mandal at Nairobi organized special Yogi Jayanti assembly on 2nd June 2016. More than 900 devotees attended the sabha. For two hours from 7 to 9 pm, the children presented inspiring incidents from Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj’s life using different mediums – from discourses to dramatic sketches. The attending parents and devotees were also transported to Yogiji Maharaj’s time via a presentation of historic videos from his time.
One of Yogiji Maharaj’s greatest works was the establishment of BAPS’s children’s activities more than 60 years ago. To honor and show gratitude for Yogiji Maharaj’s great vision, parents addressed the audience to share how BAPS’s children’s activities have positively impacted their children.
In the end, the senior sadhus of the mandir honored the life the Yogiji Maharaj and blessed the assembly.
