Balika Din Celebration
2 Aug 2014
Adelaide, Australia

In the holy month of Shravan, BAPS Australia’s Adelaide centre organised balika din as a part of the quarterly mahila din celebrations.

BAPS understands that to secure a promising future for a society one has to nurture the children today. On the evening of Saturday, 2nd August about more than 275 women were in attendance for this special occasion.

Girls aged between 5 and 13 presented various cultural programs with such great skills even at a very young age. The evening was composed of devotional bhajans, speech, drama and dance all performed by BAPS balikas themed around “Pramukh Swami tame chho amara”.

The key message of ‘seva’ and ‘sant samagam’ was conveyed in the community through this event. Overall the evening truly inspired devotees and well-wishers to observe a life aligned to a Guru’s commands and also motivated young parents to nurture their children with righteous values aligned with Satsang.
