This year a Bal Vikas Parva was organised in Dubai from October 9, 2014 to October 11, 2014. A total of 66 children attended it from all over the UAE. 8 children had come from Ruwais which is 400 kms away from Dubai. The theme of this year’s Bal Vikas Parva was 'Akshar Purushottam Upasana Ne Kaaj'.

Major topics covered:

b. Gunatitanand Mul Akshar
c. Sahajanand Ek Parmeshwar
d. Pragat Satpurush - Moksh Nu Dwar

All these topics were covered with PowerPoint presentations, videos and fun activities. Skits and one minute games were played in between the programmes to make the event more interesting. Children learnt a great deal about these topics while also having fun. All the children attentively listened to the talks and actively took part in the activities. Throughout the Parva, special treats were served during breakfast, lunch and dinner. T-shirts highlighting the theme were provided to the children. On October 10 and 11, Samuha Puja was organized. Children also performed Nilkanth Varni abhishek onOctober 9.

The three-day programme proved to be an enlightening experience, with many commenting on the positive impact the Parva had in imparting a clearer understanding of the Akshar Purushottam upasana and in enthusing and guiding them towards a stronger spiritual grounding in their lives. Everyone left with a greater understanding of the Akshar Purushottam upasana and a firm resolve to apply it in daily life.
